The United States dominates construction activity in the region with 138,922 rooms. Other notable contributors include Mexico (14,562 rooms), Canada (9,128 rooms), and Brazil (5,334 rooms).
While global hotel development remains on an upward trend, regional variations highlight where investment and growth are most concentrated, with the Middle East and Africa currently facing a temporary slowdown.
