A strong foundation: In partnership with the Pizzinini family
Longtime hosts Huga and Ursula Pizzinini continue to lead the property, now in close collaboration with Aman. Together, they are shaping a new future for this cherished mountain retreat.
“This partnership allows us to honor our family’s legacy and three generations of hospitality, while joining a brand known for its unwavering attention to detail and deep respect for its surroundings.”
Vlad Doronin, Chairman and CEO of Aman Group, also shared his excitement:
“I first discovered this property many years ago as a guest. What began as admiration quickly became a shared vision – to preserve and elevate the spirit of this unique place.”
Design rooted in alpine spirit
Guided by acclaimed architect Jean-Michel Gathy, Rosa Alpina has undergone a thoughtful transformation. The renovation preserves the property’s alpine soul while incorporating refined natural materials such as wood, stone, and metal to enhance its elegance.
At the heart of the new design is a welcoming reception area with a bespoke bar, inspired by the property’s original piano bar. The guest rooms have also been reimagined, including two spacious Aman Suites measuring 150 m² each. The updated Chalet Zeno offers two luxurious suites and a private retreat for up to four guests.
Elevated culinary experiences
Guests can look forward to an expanded culinary offering: an Italian grill, an all-day lounge, a breakfast room with live cooking, and a curated wine library. A Japanese restaurant will debut for the winter season, adding further diversity to the dining experience.
Wellness and recreation for all ages
With its reopening, Aman Rosa Alpina introduces the holistic wellness philosophy of Aman to the Dolomites. The new Aman Spa features two indoor pools, an outdoor pool, a whirlpool, and a selection of rejuvenating treatments.
Families will appreciate dedicated spaces for children and teens, along with three private cinema rooms. In winter, guests benefit from an on-site ski lounge complete with rental services and heated boot racks. Two private mountain huts owned by the Pizzinini family are also available for exclusive lunch experiences, complete with wood-fired cuisine prepared by a private chef.
