The Radisson Hotel Group is expanding and continuing its development plan. According to its own information, the group signed contracts for 16 more hotels with more than 2,000 rooms in the EMEA region in the first quarter of 2021. The new additions include the first Radisson Collection Hotel in Albania and two hotels in Andorra and Montenegro, where Radisson is now represented for the first time.

Despite the pandemic-related challenges, the Radisson Hotel Group is sticking to its ambitious five-year development plan and continuing its expansion course. The second largest hotel company in the world on number of rooms announced more than 40 new contract signings in Europe, the Middle East and Africa in 2020. New hotels in the EMEA region

“Together with our business partners, the Radisson Group has succeeded in continuing growth in 2021“, said Elie Younes, Executive Vice President & Chief Development Officer EMEA of the Radisson Group. “Thanks to the commitment of our employees and the trust of our owners, our flagship brand Radisson Blu is represented with more than 280 hotels in the EMEA region, making it the largest brand in the upscale segment in Europe for ten years.”

The top priority of the hotel group is the health, safety and protection of its guests, employees and business partners. The group uses the Radisson Hotels Safety Protocol, which was developed in collaboration with SGS, a leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company. The group recently presented its new, comprehensive test program, which, according to its own statements, will be the first hotel group to introduce a quick test service for meeting and event participants in the hotels in its EMEA portfolio.
