IHG expansion strengthens UK presence with new hotels
InterContinental Hotels Group is growing its United Kingdom network through four additional properties agreed with Fairview Hotels, covering both signings and recent openings. Together, the hotels deliver more than 380 rooms and build on a portfolio that already counted over 400 open and pipeline assets across the United Kingdom and Ireland as of late 2025.
The deal features voco London – Bloomsbury, a 114-room conversion on Southampton Row that will complete its rebranding in mid-2026 while trading throughout the transition. Three Garner-branded hotels complement the move: Rotherham East, which opened in January 2025, plus new locations in Lincoln and Chesterfield North, each slated to debut in February 2026.

The voco flag, first launched in 2018, has reached 100 operating hotels worldwide and now includes dozens of properties open or in planning across the United Kingdom and Ireland. Garner is also gaining traction, with multiple open and pipeline sites nationally, and these latest agreements bringing InterContinental Hotels Group’s partnership with Fairview Hotels to six properties overall.
