Autograph Collection Hotels, a part of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio, has launched the Veranda Resort Phuket. It is the first Autograph Collection Hotel in Phuket and the third in Thailand. The resort is on the secluded Cape Panwa peninsula, known for its sunset views, near Phuket’s Old Town and the Andaman Sea. It’s 12km from Phuket Town, 24km from Patong Beach, and 45km from Phuket International Airport.
Brad Edman, Market Vice President, Thailand, Cambodia, and Myanmar, Marriott International, said that after opening two Autograph Collection Hotels in Bangkok, they were excited to introduce the brand to guests in Phuket.
Like all Autograph Collection hotels, the Veranda Resort Phuket is unique. Its design is inspired by Phuket’s local culture and natural beauty, incorporating elements of the distinctive Sino-Portuguese architecture found in Phuket’s Old Town. The resort features pastel colors and minimalist finishes, offering guests a refined ambiance that reflects Phuket’s rich heritage.
The resort offers 159 guest rooms, suites, and pool villas, each designed for comfort and elegance. The rooms have private terraces with views of Ao Yon Bay and are decorated with natural material finishes and custom pieces by local artists. The resort offers a variety of accommodations, from rooms with direct pool access to beachfront suites and multi-bedroom villas catering to various occasions.
The dining facilities at the Veranda Resort Phuket highlight local cuisine, offering dishes that blend local flavors with international techniques. The resort also offers exclusive amenities for guests to unwind, including a spa, a pool surrounded by flowering plants, and excursions to Phuket Town.
